Karunya Snehabhojanam
The feast of love, or snehabhojanam is the free distribution of food at noon at the premises of the General Hospital, and Medical college Hospital, Trivandrum. The hospital inmates, their aides and even homeless mendicants benefit from this program. Every day, 500 meals are collected in bulk from Kudumbashree Canteen and many are the people who benefit from this project which gives meals enclosed with love.
Karunya Marriage Assistance Foundation
Karunya Marriage Aid Foundation, M.A.F was the mother project of KARUNYA, stated in 1965 at Trivandrum. The M.A.F has helped thousands of girls of marriageable age enter into a family life, despite their poverty. It still continues to function, aiding those whose financial situation would otherwise cast a shadow over their dreams of a married life.
Karunya Sick Aid Foundation
Karunya Sick Aid Foundation Begun as an offshoot of M.A.F, the S.A.F is a project started in 1970 to aid those who are from the most impecunious background and are unable to gain access to medical care due to their abject poverty. Since its inception, S.A.F has been able to aid thousands to get medical aid.
Mother Hannah Foundation
Started in the memory of Mother Hannah, who dedicated her life to Karunya Guidance Centre, this foundation helps students from financially backward families by giving the necessary school supplies at the start of the academic year. On January 12 th of every year, which is the day of remembrance of Mother Hannah, families living near the VishranthiBhavan are given support and assistance.
Karunya Save Heart Foundation
The Save Heart Foundation endeavours to help those who suffer from problems related to the heart. In our own little way, we have been able to help many who stood aghast at the cost of treating cardiac problems.
